....So I'm at work today.  I work in a deli.  Lots of meat and other deli-ish things.  I'm doing a bit of cleaning and one of the guys who works with me comes over and says, "Ulgh!  Here, smell this.  It's disgusting!"  ...  Am I the only one who thinks it would be incredibly stupid to lean over and smell something that has already been proclaimed disgusting?  I asked why I'd want to smell something like that and the response was, "'Cause it's really gross!  Here!"  and the olive bucket which I assume had something not so nice in it, was again thrust at me.  I then spent the rest of my day asking various people why a person might want to smell or taste disgusting things, and received exactly the same answer.  "Well, it's really gross right?  So you'd want to know how gross it is." ...  With this kind of reasoning, I'm not sure how humans survive.
