It's funny how hours can pass, where the most notable thing you've done all day was to make a couple rather good sandwiches and play a video game. Yes, thinking back on it, that seems to be all I did the whole day. On the bright side, or the frightening side, the video game was an online one, so I spent that time of nothingness interacting with about 18 other people all having the same kind of day.
Work tomorrow. Manager is still away so more incorrect orders, confusing paperwork and a lot of organizing that I'm not organized myself to handle. Also, what is WITH people here? We hire someone, they call in sick within three days, come late to a couple shifts and then either steal something, have some kind of emotional breakdown or quit with little to no notice. I did say that my occupation is slicing meat, right? It's as stressful a job as "Hi, what can I get for you? Ham? Sure we have Blackforest, Honey Maple or Plain ol' Cooked Ham. Which would you like? Sliced or shaved? Okay, there you go, have a nice day!" And if you're in a hurry to get back to your dishes (of which there are 12 to wash), you can shorten this to "What can I get for you? Which one? Here." How terrible is that?
